JOHN LENNON AGREES HAPPINESS IS KEY
Artist: Betty Dang, July 2014
"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life."
– John Lennon
EXPERIENCE MORE HAPPINESS
Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress.
Working hard for something we love is called passion.
Essentially, when you explore the idea of happiness, you realize that it is based on beliefs of what will make you happy. You have discovered that the world around us is capable of inventing half-truths, influencing our "belief system." You realize that you have let distractions that do not deserve your attention take over your power to overcome your obstacles and suffering. This is the illusion that creates a challenge that is one of the hardest things to do in life; letting go of what you thought was real.
