"Despite being in the second-longest economic expansion since the post–World War II boom, the U.S. is projected to rack up annual deficits and incur national debt at rates not seen since the 1940s, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Over the next 10 years, annual federal deficits — when Congress spends more than it takes in through tax revenues — are expected to average $1.2 trillion, which would be 4.4 percent of gross domestic product.

 

That's far higher than the 2.9 percent of GDP that has been the average for the past 50 years."

We can change that so that we have more successful businesses, which would result in an increase in tax revenue for the government.  Betty supports increasing education and support for small business growth.  We work together to build communities through businesses. 

 

The long term goal is to help more small businesses succeed and grow their revenue by 30% over the next 5 years.

New cash crops in America, cannabis and hemp will transform our economy and labor force.  As more states legalize and establish regulation, there will be a significant increase tax revenue.  We will also see new jobs being created and increase in tourism.  Both of these streams of revenue benefit that states that are adopting the new cash crop.
